JAYNE IS

My middle name is Jayne. With a "y." And I like it more than my first name so I use it as my online identity. In my day-to-day life, everyone I know calls me Shives, which is my last name. My mom calls me "Jellybean", but don't you dare call me that. It's HER pet name for me. :)

I am originally from Rockford, Illinois, which is about 75 miles west of Chicago. I lived there until 2002, when I moved to Pennsylvania to live with my boyfriend of 8 years, Jeff. (I call him "Jeffiepoopants" and he HATES it.) I am a former Specialist in the Army (my MOS was Nuclear, Chemical & Biological Warfare), but that period of my life was hardly enjoyable and not often very educational. I loved boot camp, and that's all I'm going to say about it.

I love photography, and take my camera with me everywhere I go, when permissable. (And sometimes when it's not.) This includes concerts—many of them Keane concerts. They're a British band that I am positively obsessed with, and they're very photogenic. www.keanemusic.com

I work for People's Light & Theatre Company, of Malvern, PA. I LOVE my job, it's a lot of fun, and it's a busy and challenging way to spend each day. I am a marketing assistant and the subscriptions manager. So, if you live in that area and ever want to buy season tickets, give me a call.
