Fall is fun!                    SUNDAY, 25 OCTOBER 2009

Today was pretty fun. I went to work to photograph the ribbon-cutting of our renovated building, and then I went straight to the trail to take some nature-y photos. It was nice and cool today, with lots of sunlight. The leaves are finally all changed over since we've had a lot of rain and the weather has gotten cooler. Some examples:

Updating!                    SATURDAY, 24 OCTOBER 2009

I'm starting over with this blog. I don't like how cluttered with Sims pictures it got. I've put them in one location, here. I'm going to mainly use this to keep track of things I did each day, things coming up, etc.

So, what did I do today? Well, I woke up to pouring rain outside and colorful leaves flying everywhere. Lovely day. At approximately 11:45, our landlord showed up unannounced (me in my pjs, no bra on, and folded laundry all over the floor waiting to be put away) to fix the kitchen sink, which has been leaking since last week (he was supposed to come fix it this past Monday). Not only did he not acknowledge me when he came in--even though I was sitting in plain sight of the front door--but he also had the audacity to ask Jeff to move the dishes that were in the sink. I had cleaned that sink out every day since the past Sunday night because I THOUGHT he was going to be showing up on MONDAY and since he never did I just continued to hope...hope, and clean out the sink every morning. Well. He fixed the sink and then when we brought up again the fact that we were going to be moving, he came out to inspect the paint on the walls--he came out into the living room and shone a flashlight on the walls in order to see them (in broad daylight) and declared that he might just keep them the way I've painted them, as long as I touch up the spots where we'll be taking shelves off the walls. This is after I'd already started painting them back to their original off-white color because THAT'S WHAT HE TOLD ME I'D HAVE TO DO when I had first asked if I could paint. Let's just say that I reeeeally won't miss this asshole when we finally are able to move.

Around 1pm, I went in to work to greet a member of the press, and then I watched our current show, Absence--which was excellent. (Make sure to check out the awesome video interview we did with the actors! It's on the "Media" page.) I went to Starbucks and got fraps, and then I came home, where I called my Grammie--she's 87 today.

Nothing too exciting since then. In 15 minutes BLEACH comes on, which I watch religiously. (Not like I'm in a cult, but regularly, I mean.) Then in about 10 hours, I'll be on my way back into work to be the photographer for an event at our newly renovated theatre. That will actually be fun!
